Always a highlight of the festival season for me & Magda - this year was no exception, it just keeps getting better and better! As always a huge thank you to the Sun & Bass crew, staff at @ambranightofficial, the San Teodoro locals for their hospitality, and of course all the International DNB ravers who come and share the love for the music every year! Took Sunday & Monday off to continue our mission w Took Sunday & Monday off to continue our mission walking the length of the @thamespathnt (in chunks). We started on Sunday in Oxford, did about 10 miles to Abingdon then stayed overnight in a nice little hotel. My knee was fuuuuuuuucked last week after our session the previous weekend (I could hardly walk and had to spend a couple of days pretty much stuck lying down with leg elevated and ice packs etc) but it had settled down enough to roll through again - got a good support brace on and am trying out trekking poles (feel like a bit of a try hard but they did help). Good night’s sleep then a nice sunny, shorter walk to Culham this morning. Luckily we’re now more in the part of the world where getting trains home isn’t such a mission. The first few sections closer to the ‘source’ were usually a couple of trains and buses to get there - or home after! Good times anyway and hopefully knee doesn’t blow up again - fingers crossed!
